Privacy Policy -- Draft

To be refined and re-organized to match PIPEDA.

All information provided to me will be used only for business purposes. I won't sell it or give it to anyone else (except as required by law).

Information will be stored on paper or on my computer. They will be secured physically by locking the house and taking reasonable precautions while traveling with the portable computer and files. All my computers will be secured electronically by use of firewalls and anti-virus software.

Additionally, passwords will be encrypted, including those recorded on paper.

Retention is yet to be determined. It will be kept at least as long as the contract and laws require.

I may do mass emailing of clients (and potential clients) who have given me their email addresses, to advertise specials or alert them to important changes. All emails will include an "opt out" feature.
